We are looking for a talented and experienced
DevOps Engineer
to join our team at SII Belgium. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless integration and efficient deployment of software applications. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation processes, optimizing system performance, and enhancing overall infrastructure reliability. You would join various teams working in SCRUM mode for projects in the Energy, Retail, Banking or Media sectors.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment ) pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
Ensure the timely and reliable deployment of applications across development, testing, and production environments.
Utilize IaC (Infrastructure as Code ) tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Implement robust monitoring solutions to detect and respond to system anomalies.
Establish centralized logging for troubleshooting and performance analysis.
Work with containerization technologies and container orchestration tools
Orchestrate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
Implement and enhance security measures throughout the infrastructure.
Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and ensure repeatability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other relevant field
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python and automation tools.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
Team player with active listening and comprehension
You speak English and French or Dutch
