Job description Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement industrial engineering strategies that align with organizational objectives.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cost reduction.
Analyse trends and innovations in industrial engineering to keep the organization competitive.
Process Optimization
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows for efficiency improvements.
Oversee the design and implementation of new production systems, tools, or methods.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including materials, manpower, and machinery.
Performance Management
Monitor production metrics (KPIs) and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Identify bottlenecks in production and propose solutions to improve throughput.
Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to meet production demands.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with other departments (BD, R\&D, Quality, Maintenance) to align goals and activities.
Serve as a liaison between IE manager and other departments to ensure clear communication.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Develop and enforce policies to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize data analytics and modelling tools to make informed decisions.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects and process changes.
Profile
You have a background in Industrial or Textile Engineering and a strong interest in manufacturing and production environments.
You have experience optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
You are comfortable working closely with production teams, supervisors, and other departments on the factory floor.
You are data-driven and able to analyze KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and translate insights into practical solutions.
You communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You are proactive, hands-on, and willing to travel frequently to support factories and production sites.
You are motivated to drive innovation, support machine investments, and contribute to garment manufacturing improvements.
You have full professional proficiency in Dutch and a good command of English and French; knowledge of German is a plus.
