at Sky, you’ll be at the heart of our data transformation efforts, shaping how we use data to drive decision-making. This

12-month fixed term contract

will see you working with tools like Snowflake and dbt to create smart, scalable solutions that power everything from customer insights to business strategy.

You’ll join a collaborative team passionate about making data accessible, actionable, and accurate. From transforming datasets to deploying new data models and products, your work will play a key role in delivering high-quality analytics across Sky.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

Designing and delivering scalable data solutions to meet business needs.

Ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and ready for reporting and analysis.

Supporting data modelling, transformation, and deployment to production.

Managing version control and maintaining a smooth-running codebase.

Partnering with teams to implement data governance and ensure compliance.

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO I WHAT YOU WILL BRING

You’re a quick thinker with a passion for data and a knack for problem-solving. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy collaborating with stakeholders, and are driven to create reliable, high-impact solutions.

3+ years’ experience with databases, BI tools, and data analysis.

Strong skills in SQL, R, Python, or other coding languages.

Proven experience in data modelling and delivering enterprise data solutions.

Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools like GitLab.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Power BI (or similar).

Knowledge of the subscription services industry. (preferred)
