Responsibilities
Manage Traders, sales requests, and incidents by gathering information from our communication channels (trading floor interaction; phone; symphony, emails)
Lead investigations to resolve problems, troubleshoot and debug code, search log files
Enhance cloud integration, CI/CD pipeline and ELK monitoring, DevOps
Conduct business requirement analysis and formalize technical solutions
Propose recommendations for process / monitoring improvement

Profile required
Currently studying towards a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System or similar majors
Ability to read and write basic JVM languages or C#
Experience in scripting skills, python, shell, and VBA
Good understanding on both UNIX and Windows environments
Good knowledge on SQL
Good knowledge on global equity derivative activities with a focus on exotic products
Fluency in English is mandatory
This is a 1–3-month full-time winter internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period. Department Description
As part of Equity Derivative Front Office Technology team, you will oversee all agents in pre-trade lifecycle. The candidate will be exposed to the various investment banking sell-side processes from derivative product pricing and risk hedging in our in-house trading \& risk management systems focusing on market volatility fitting.
You will work closely with traders and sales in a fast-paced environment respond requests, assess the criticality \& priority, and advise for quick turnaround technical solutions.
With DEV/Ops setup, you will be spending 20% on support \& business analysis and 80% migrating existing application to a target setup. You will attend daily scrums meeting and actively participate to regular prioritizations, sprints, and retrospectives.
