What You’ll Do:
Build, manage, and optimize our 24/7 production, staging, and development environments for maximum performance and availability.
Drive automation and scalability to enhance the stability of our cloud-based platform.
Collaborate with application engineering, DBA, cloud automation, deployment, and security teams to deliver seamless solutions.
Serve as a key point of contact for technical issues across production systems, deployment tools, and more.
Participate in an on-call support rota to ensure 24/7 reliability.
Champion security best practices and leverage monitoring tools to maintain top-tier system performance.
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, SRE, or DevOps, with a strong focus on scripting and automation.
Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc.) and cloud security principles.
Proficiency in Linux/Windows infrastructure administration in high-availability environments.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar) and web server administration (NGINX/IIS preferred).
Knowledge of microservices architecture, TCP/IP, DNS, load-balancing, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Familiarity with patch management (e.g., Qualys) and DR testing.
Degree in computing, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and a proactive, continuous-learning mindset.
Bonus Points for:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, or Azure DevOps.
SQL Server administration or cloud security/compliance expertise.
Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies.
AWS certification or experience in regulated environments.
