About Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Talend Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines and data integration solutions. The role requires expertise in Talend, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms, along with the ability to lead technical design, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality data solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend for data integration, transformation, and loading.
Build and optimize Snowflake (or other cloud DWH) data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
Implement CDC, incremental loads, and performance tuning strategies for large-scale datasets.
Integrate data from heterogeneous sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud systems) into centralized platforms.
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across pipelines and workflows.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support migrations from legacy ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, SSIS) to Talend.
Drive CI/CD practices for ETL deployments, including Git integration and automated testing.
Mentor junior developers, review code, and enforce best practices and standards.
Required Skills \& Experience:* 3+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering, with at least 3years in Talend (Open Studio/Enterprise/Data Fabric).
Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
Hands-on with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one cloud platform).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and schema design.
Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting for automation and data handling.
Experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs, flat files, and streaming data sources.
Knowledge of version control (Git/SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Good to Have:* Experience with data governance, data cataloging, and metadata-driven ETL.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
