Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Java for one of our longest-running projects. Your main responsibility will be contributing to the project, collaborating with an already established team from Space Inch’s side while also working closely with the client’s team as well. The client is a large FinTech corporation and we have multiple long-term projects running with them in parallel.

If you’re an experienced frontend engineer with deep expertise in Java, who also enjoys rolling up your sleeves on backend code, and have a track record of delivering production-level applications (bonus points if it's in FinTech), we’d love to hear from you!

About Working at Space Inch

Our team is around 60+ people, primarily based in Croatia, but also members in South America, Serbia, and the US; the product team mostly being in the US, and engineering in Croatia and Brazil

We are remote-first, but occasional travel may be required, e.g. for annual company retreats in Croatia

Requirements

7+ years of professional software development experience

5+ years of experience with Java

Experience with PostgreSQL; if also MongoDB it's a plus

Knowledge of Docker and working with Azure

Strong familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

Familiarity with any modern FE framework (Vue, React or Angular) is a plus

Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

Must be based in Brazil
