Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Architecture \& Infrastructure
Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.).
Implement scalable, highly available architectures using AWS best practices.
Manage networking configurations, including VPNs, security groups, subnetting, and load balancing.
Automation \& DevOps
Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Automate operational tasks and deployments using Python, Bash, or AWS CLI.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Monitoring \& Reliability
Implement monitoring and alerts with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
Perform regular system health checks and optimize performance.
Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, incidents, and outages.
Security \& Compliance
Manage IAM roles/policies, secrets, and access control following least-privilege principles.
Ensure infrastructure compliance with standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee remediation.
Cost Optimization
Analyze and optimize AWS usage and spending.
Recommend reserved instances, autoscaling, and rightsizing strategies.
Collaboration
Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to support application deployments.
Provide technical documentation and guidance to cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience designing and managing AWS environments.
Proficiency with EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and related AWS services.
Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Familiarity with Linux administration and shell scripting.
Understanding of DevOps tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD, monitoring systems.
Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
