About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team in a full-time remote role. This position is open to candidates across all experience levels—from entry-level engineers to seasoned professionals. You will contribute to building, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines across our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation solutions
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
Automate routine operational tasks to enhance reliability and efficiency
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, cost, and security
Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and platform teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, network, and automation workflows
Create and maintain documentation for processes, architectures, and automation scripts
Required Skills \& Qualifications
0–12 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, automation, or related fields
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, etc.)
Understanding of network fundamentals, cloud security, and monitoring
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and serverless frameworks
Exposure to GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
Understanding of cost optimization and cloud governance best practices
Certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Engineer or DevOps Engineer
Must have eligibility to work in the UK—no visa sponsorship provided
