Cloud Support Engineer – Full-Time \| Remote \| Permanent (UK)

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
Manage incidents, service requests, and problem investigations within SLAs.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Assist with automation, scripting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform log analysis, diagnostics, and root cause investigation.
Document system configurations, procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
Participate in on-call rotations where required.
Required Technical Skills
Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of cloud networking, VMs, storage, IAM, monitoring.
Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments.
Basic scripting skills (Python / Bash / PowerShell).
Familiarity with troubleshooting logs, metrics, and alerts.
Strong understanding of incident management and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
Event-driven \& serverless architectures (Lambda, Functions).
Security best practices in cloud environments.
Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
Experience working in ITIL or SRE/DevOps environments.
