GIS Developer – Full-Time \| Remote \| Permanent (UK)
Location: Remote (United Kingdom only)

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications, tools, and databases.
Work with spatial datasets to perform analysis, mapping, and visualisation.
Integrate GIS solutions with web and mobile applications.
Develop custom GIS tools, scripts, and automation workflows using programming languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL).
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise GIS systems and geodatabases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand GIS requirements and deliver solutions.
Produce maps, reports, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to GIS standards and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging GIS technologies and tools.
Required Skills \& Competencies
Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar.
Experience with spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, etc.)
Knowledge of web mapping technologies (Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers).
Ability to perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and cartographic design.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Good communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting GIS outputs.
