Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other AI tools to solve complex business problems.
Lead end-to-end model training, validation, tuning, and deployment processes, ensuring high performance and scalability in production environments.
Implement robust data pipelines utilizing ETL processes with Talend, Bash scripting, and SQL to prepare large datasets for analysis.
Collaborate with data engineers to build efficient database schemas and data architectures that support big data analytics on Hadoop and Spark clusters.
Apply natural language processing techniques to extract insights from unstructured text data and enhance AI-driven applications.
Utilize cloud platforms like AWS for model deployment, monitoring, and scaling solutions in a secure manner.
Conduct data mining activities to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within linked data sources for strategic insights.
Stay current with emerging trends in machine learning frameworks, quantum engineering applications in AI, and advanced analytics methodologies to continuously improve model performance.
Skills
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C, R, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for developing machine learning algorithms and automation scripts.
Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, SAS, Spark MLlib, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and related ecosystem components for scalable data processing.
Expertise in AWS cloud services for model deployment, storage solutions, and scalable computing resources.
Knowledge of SQL databases along with database design principles to support efficient data retrieval and management.
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised learning techniques, data mining methods, and linked data concepts.
Experience with analytics platforms like Looker for visualization and reporting purposes.
Ability to work with ETL tools such as Talend to streamline data workflows from diverse sources.
Understanding of quantum engineering principles as they relate to emerging AI applications is a plus.
