\<Responsibilities\>
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures within various database environments such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud-based data lakes like Azure Data Lake.
Design and implement scalable data models and architectures for data warehouses, ensuring efficient data flow and storage solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective database solutions using ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting with Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
Build and manage data pipelines utilizing Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and other big data technologies to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Integrate diverse datasets through linked data principles and RESTful APIs to enable seamless access across platforms.
Utilize analytics tools such as Looker for visualization and reporting to support business decision-making processes.
Participate in Agile development cycles to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality data products while adhering to best practices in database design, security, and compliance.
\<Qualifications\>
Proven experience developing with SQL across multiple database systems including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure Data Lake, or equivalent cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related ecosystems.
Familiarity with ETL processes using Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Knowledge of modern analytics tools such as Looker for creating dashboards and reports.
Ability to design efficient database schemas and optimize query performance for large datasets.
Experience working within Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements in a collaborative environment.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
Additional skills such as VBA scripting, Shell Scripting, RESTful API integration, Model training techniques for predictive analytics are a plus.
