DevOps Engineer – Aviation \& Air Traffic Management Industry
About The Role
Join the Engineering Unit’s Platform Engineering team — the backbone of seamless software delivery. This cross-functional DevOps team designs, maintains, and evolves the Digital Platform that powers enterprise-grade products in the aviation and air traffic management sector.
You’ll play a key role in building, integrating, and deploying digital solutions that are secure, scalable, and efficient. The environment encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain standard CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), and Maven/Gradle.
Integrate and manage Nexus Repository Manager for artifact storage.
Automate container builds using Docker and Helm charts.
Deploy and scale containerized applications on OpenShift (OKD/OCP).
Standardize and automate release processes, including branching and tagging strategies.
Collaborate with Digital Product teams to improve workflows and align on best practices.
Enforce security standards through SAST/DAST tools (SonarQube, Veracode, Trivy, Syft).
Maintain UBI base images and ensure timely security patching.
Manage secrets and credentials with HashiCorp Vault in compliance with security policies.
Implement enterprise logging and monitoring (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
Work closely with developers and testers to optimize build, test, and deployment processes.
Provide guidance to teams integrating products into the Digital Platform environment.

CI/CD \& Build Tools: Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), Maven, Nexus
Containerization \& Orchestration: Docker, Podman, Helm, OpenShift
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, Minikube
Security \& Compliance: HashiCorp Vault, Veracode, Trivy, Syft
Monitoring \& Observability: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
Databases \& Messaging: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka (Confluent), Solace PubSub+
Scripting \& Automation: Python, Bash, ksh, Perl
Collaboration Tools: JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, MS Teams
Methodology: Agile and hybrid DevOps model experience (federated or centralized environments)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
