About Us

We are a deep-tech startup based in Singapore, with a vision to transform the global air cargo industry using our innovative solutions that are based on cutting-edge computer vision technologies, advanced algorithms, and artificial intelligence, by digitising, optimising and automating air cargo operations. As we scale, we are looking for a capable and driven individual to join our team as a Field Services Manager / Senior Engineer with a strong background in Applied Computer Vision and/or Robotics .

The Role

You will be responsible for the successful deployment of our solutions at customer sites — typically airport and warehouse environments — and for post-sales support. This is a hands-on role where you will carry out deployments, troubleshooting, issues-resolution, and customer management at the sites. You will do this individually, lead a team or work with contractors. You will also work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure our solutions operate reliably and effectively at customer sites.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is technically competent, resourceful, and able to operate independently at customer sites, sometimes overseas. You will be the face of our company to our customers, and your ability to manage situations competently, calmly and professionally, even when issues arise, will be crucial. Strong networking skills, hands-on experience with camera hardware, and a solid understanding of computer vision technology will be ideal.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare (such as test and configure) and deploy our solutions at customer sites (including proper integration with existing network infrastructure).

Monitor solutions that have been deployed, maintain their performance, and provide technical support (such as diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware, software and networking issues) to customers both remotely and on-site to provide timely resolution of issues, ensuring that service-level agreements are met and achieving customer satisfaction.

Doing the above individually, as a leader of a team, or through overseeing and working with contractors.

Train contractors engaged for deployment or support and manage their work quality and delivery as well as customers.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers during deployment and support, including managing expectations and handling escalations.

Take initiative to identify, propose, and implement improvements to deployment and support operations, in collaboration with internal teams, with the goal of enhancing customer satisfaction with our solution.

Work closely with internal teams to feedback deployment and support learnings for continuous improvement of our solutions and procedures.

Develop and maintain documentation of deployments, support cases, and contractor engagements such as installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures for internal and customer use.

Travel regionally and internationally as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering , Mechatronics, with practical experience in Applied Computer Vision and Robotics

3–5 years of experience in solution deployment, field services, technical operations, or related roles.

Hand on experience working with 3D cameras, robotics software development tools/middleware such as ROS

Expert in Linux OS

Programming experience in C++, Python

Exposure to computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, PCL will be an added advantage

Very strong knowledge in networking concepts such as Switches, Routers, Network Stacks, IPTables, Firewalls, Routing, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs)

Experience with Devops technologies such as Docker, Kubernetis, Docker networking, Grafana, etc.

Strong technical competency and detailed-oriented — able to independently install, configure, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking components of camera systems, IoT devices, or embedded hardware, including with the use of remote monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work resourcefully and independently at customer locations.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage customer relationships, including handling difficult conversations when issues arise.

Proactive and self-driven, with the initiative to suggest and implement improvements.

Adaptability to changing technologies and environments.

Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
