At Squirro, we build solutions that bring structure, clarity, and insight to messy real-world data. Our work sits at the intersection of AI, search, and real business impact — used daily by leading organizations like the Bank of England, Standard Chartered, and the European Central Bank.
Join our fast-moving team in EMEA as a highly knowledgeable IT Project Manager, working with customers and partners to deliver demanding AI solutions while helping sell, implement, and support the Squirro platform.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead customer projects from scoping to rollout, delivering outcomes on time, on budget, and in scope — while setting clear client expectations, defining success criteria, managing risks, and allocating resources effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Presales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and assist in preparing compelling project proposals.
Project Delivery Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects using agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate effectively with internal teams, external clients, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
Risk \& Change Management: Monitor and manage project scope, proactively addressing risks and changes to ensure successful and controlled delivery.
Resource Management: Lead and coordinate internal and partner resources to ensure the right skills are allocated at the right time for optimal project execution.
What You Bring
As this region continues to grow, we're looking for a hands-on Project Manager who is comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels. You will support both the technical and account teams in managing ongoing project rollouts, while also nurturing existing customer relationships to drive regional growth.
3+ years of experience in a customer-facing project management role within a software or IT deployment environment.
Project Management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master certification are a strong plus.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Engineering.
Industry experience in Banking, Finance, or Pharma is highly desirable.
Excellent stakeholder and resource management skills with strong interpersonal capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills, with professional fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
Demonstrated technical aptitude or strong interest in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), Knowledge Graphs, and Search Analytics/Data Science.
A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is a bonus.
Tools You'll Use
You'll work with a modern toolset to ensure efficient planning, collaboration, and execution across teams and projects. Key tools include:
Jira – for agile project tracking and sprint planning
Certinia PSA – for professional services automation and resource management
Confluence – for documentation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration
Salesforce – for customer relationship management and integration with project data
Experience with these tools is preferred but not mandatory — we’re looking for someone who is tech-savvy and quick to learn.
