What youâll be doing:
Supporting in the delivery of data that informs the whole business
Designing, building, and deploying data pipelines within the Stagecoach Integration Platform (SIP) and Data Warehouse.
Delivering systems to store and retrieve large volumes of data securely and efficiently.
Integrating data from multiple sources, leveraging APIs, applications, and external systems.
Developing, monitoring, and improving the quality, performance, and reliability of our data \& integration platform.
Working closely with the wider Data, Analytics \& Insight team to deliver end-to-end data products.
Ensuring all solutions meet information security and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with colleagues across Central Functions and Operating Companies to deliver data capabilities that support strategic goals.

What weâre looking for:
Masterâs degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant demonstrable experience.
Strong expertise in Python and SQL for data integration and engineering.
Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, but Azure/GCP also welcome).
Expertise in data warehousing tools (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake) and concepts.
Understanding of industry-standard best practice on how to model data for the most efficient storage and retrieval.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Mentorship and leadership skills on complex deliverables.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
