Position: PCB \& Hardware Design Engineer – Smart Vehicle Systems
Experience: 5–8 Years
Location: Asia
About the Role
We’re building next-generation connected vehicle systems that combine IoT, LTE, BLE, GPS, and BMS technologies into a single intelligent platform. We’re looking for an experienced PCB \& Hardware Design Engineer who can join immediately and start contributing to our active development cycles. You’ll design and validate the hardware that powers our smart automotive ecosystem — from telematics boards to control and safety modules.
Key Responsibilities
Design multi-layer PCBs (2–6 layers) in Altium Designer for telematics and smart control systems.
Develop schematics, layouts, and BOMs for IoT, automotive, and battery-operated hardware.
Optimize for low-power performance, high EMI immunity, and thermal reliability.
Interface with LTE, BLE, GPS, accelerometer, UWB, and crypto ICs.
Work closely with the firmware team to ensure proper board bring-up and debugging.
Validate boards through bench testing, functional verification, and field testing on vehicles.
Support DFM/DFA and collaborate with EMS partners for production readiness.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure enclosure fit, IP ratings (IP55+), and connector design.
Conduct root-cause analysis of field issues and implement design improvements.
Required Skills \& Experience
5–8 years of PCB and hardware design experience in embedded or automotive systems.
Strong proficiency in Altium Designer and hardware validation tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
Proven experience in IoT or smart vehicle electronics — GPS, BLE, LTE, CAN, or sensor-based systems.
Solid understanding of power management, analog/digital circuit design, and signal integrity.
Experience designing for automotive environments (12V systems, vibration, heat, and transient protection).
Familiarity with BMS hardware and battery safety circuits is a plus.
Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to EMI/EMC compliance, automotive testing standards (ISO 7637, AEC-Q100).
Experience with hardware-level security (crypto ICs, secure key storage).
Knowledge of CAN bus, RS-485, or other automotive communication interfaces.
Experience with IoT connectivity modules (Quectel, u-blox, SIMCom).
Why Join Us
You’ll work at the intersection of hardware, software, and AI, shaping the future of intelligent vehicle systems that make riding safer, smarter, and more connected.
We’re moving fast and need someone who can get on board immediately and help accelerate our upcoming hardware releases.
