The Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our rapidly growing Data team and work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality reporting and actionable insights. You will play a key role in expanding and maintaining our reporting capability, primarily using the Microsoft Power Platform and our Azure data stack.
This role focuses on translating business questions into clear, well-designed dashboards, reports and datasets, supporting leaders and teams in making data-informed decisions. Before you know it you will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity of our business operations!

We Would Love You To Have
4+ years experience working as a Data Engineer in a fast-paced environment, coaching all levels, resolving problems and changing peoples minds with data!
Strong experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, and slowly changing dimensions
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, ideally Azure
Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured datasets
Ability to work through ambiguity with kindness and clarity
Ability to make data led decisions and influence Leaders
A passion for learning and developing (changing your own mind is important too!)

What You Can Do For Us
Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports that support decision-making across the business
Translate stakeholder requirements into clear analytical solutions
Develop and maintain datasets and semantic models on top of our Azure data platform
Ensure data quality, consistency and trust in the reporting layer
Partner with stakeholders across the business to turn complex questions into clear, actionable insights
Create intuitive Power BI dashboards and visualisations that drive data led decision making at all levels
Write robust SQL queries to extract, transform and analyse structured data from our Azure data platform
Support the design and optimisation of our data warehouse, including fact and dimension models
Proactively identify trends, risks and opportunities within business performance data
Champion best practices in reporting, documentation and data governance
Coach and support colleagues in understanding and confidently using data in their day to day decision making
