Job Description

The Step House Hotel has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate with a genuine passion for good food, unbeatable service and an enthusiasm to oversee their dynamic team. We are looking for a business-minded individual, with a proactive approach and exceptional customer service standards. The focus of this role will be rostering \& managing your team, communicating and coordinating with events and kitchen management while ensuring the food \& beverage operation runs smoothly with a hands-on approach.

The Role:

· Ensuring all food and beverage team members are able to carry out their duties to the required standard.

· Provide outstanding customer service and be an example to the rest of the team.

· Maximise revenue, through training and up-selling, and also the efficient recording of sales.

· Ensure all staff are familiar with safekeeping, cash handling, credit policy of the hotel.

· Liaise with the wedding coordinator to execute formal wedding plans into 5 Star food \& beverage offering

· Liaise with the front of house team to ensure all residents receive 5-star experience

· Practice tight control on all stock and products.

· Ensure all cashiering procedures are in line with hotel standards, and tight control is maintained on same.

· Compile weekly and monthly reports

· Recruit \& roster wait staff to business needs

· Ensure training is carried out within the department.

· Ensure necessary procedures are implemented and communicated to the team effectively.

· Handle any complaints or problems in a professional manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per year

Experience:

Hospitality management: 2 years (preferred)
