We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs, and backend systems. The ideal candidate is a passionate developer who writes clean, maintainable code and has a strong understanding of server-side logic and modern Python frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Write efficient, reusable, and testable Python code.
Develop back-end components, APIs, and services using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL), ORM libraries, and third-party APIs.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
Ensure security and data protection in web applications.
Document technical specifications and system designs.
Required Skills \& Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Python and its ecosystem.
Experience with at least one Python web framework (preferably Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Familiarity with ORMs like SQLAlchemy, Django ORM.
Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
Understanding of containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of professional experience in Python development.
Experience with task queues and background jobs (e.g., Celery, RQ).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
