This role is responsible for shaping and governing the digital experience framework strategy across the Asia region. The Digital Experience Product Owner acts as the regional design authority, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality of customer-facing digital experience platforms while balancing local market needs. The role owns regional digital initiatives end-to-end and partners closely with markets, technology, and global teams to deliver impactful, user-centered digital products.

The Digital Experience Product Owner / Manager establishes and drives the Asia Digital Experience platform framework, ensuring all regional and market-level digital initiatives align with shared principles, standards, and design systems. Working closely with the Head of Experience Design (Asia), the role combines design leadership, product ownership, and stakeholder management to elevate digital maturity across the region.

Domain Expertise

Strong expertise in digital experience design, including UX, UI, interaction design, and accessibility

Proven experience with design systems, design frameworks, and experience governance at scale

Solid understanding of product management practices, including agile delivery and backlog ownership

Experience delivering regional or multi-market digital platforms with diverse user needs

Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and optimization to measure and improve digital experiences

Individual Skills

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into practical frameworks and execution

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority

Confident decision-maker who can balance speed, quality, and alignment across multiple markets

Design Authority \& Governance

Establish and lead the Asia Digital Experience Design Authority, acting as the final arbiter on platform and framework decisions at a regional level that balances, technology, business needs and design requirements from the Head of Experience Design/ Digital Experience Design Team.

Ensure regional and market digital platform solutions align with global brand and experience guidelines while reflecting Asia-specific user needs

Review and approve market-led digital initiatives to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality

Regional Product Ownership

Serve as Product Owner for regional platform and framework digital experience initiatives, owning vision, roadmap, and prioritization

Translate business objectives and user needs into clear product requirements, epics, and user stories

Partner with the experience design, technology and delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and delivered to a high standard

Own backlog management and ensure continuous value delivery across regional initiatives

Market Enablement \& Alignment

Support and guide local markets in adopting and applying the Asia Design platform Framework

Balance regional consistency with local market customization, ensuring deviations are intentional and value-driven

Facilitate platform design reviews, workshops, and alignment sessions with market stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Experience Design, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Data, and Business teams to align experience strategy with commercial goals

Partner with global design and product teams to ensure alignment between global and regional initiatives for digital platforms and frameworks

Collaborate with developers, UX designers, researchers, and analysts throughout the product lifecycle

Experience Quality \& Continuous Improvement

Champion user-centered design and data-driven decision-making

Define and track experience KPIs, usability metrics, and adoption measures

Drive continuous improvement of the design framework and digital products based on insights, performance data, and market feedback
