The role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, youâll be a key player in designing, maintaining, and scaling our cloud-native platform. Youâll lead infrastructure automation, enhance observability, and enforce security standards while mentoring others and shaping our DevOps culture.
Weâre AWS-native (90%), containerised (EKS/K8s), and manage everything as code. This isnât just support work,itâs a chance to architect solutions, own systems, and drive change in a production-critical environment.
What youâll do
Design and maintain high-availability infrastructure in AWS using Terraform, CloudFormation, and EKS
Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and deployment automation tools
Implement secure, reproducible environments using Docker, Helm, and hardened AMIs/images
Lead incident response and own root cause analysis for production issues
Enhance our observability stack (ElasticSearch, Grafana, OpenSearch) to support proactive monitoring
Champion security and compliance patch management, IAM policies, OS hardening, audit trails
Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and SREs to ensure operational excellence
Mentor junior/mid-level DevOps engineers and contribute to internal tooling and standards

Languages: Working knowledge of Java (nice-to-have for debugging services)
What you bring
5+ yearsâ experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or SRE
Deep hands-on expertise with AWS and container orchestration in production environments
Strong automation mindset (you never do the same thing twice manually)
Proven experience securing infrastructure and enforcing operational best practices
Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and network-level debugging
You document what you build, love a clean repo, and think in Git
Youâre comfortable being on-call or leading incident retros (you own what you ship)
Clear communicator, strong collaborator, natural mentor
