Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Back End .NET Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client has multiple online platforms providing spiritual guidance on love, relationships, and life. They offer a vast portfolio of over 20 brands in the spiritual and emotional wellness space.
You will help modernize the backend architecture supporting B2C and B2B customers by building a scalable, modular architecture, creating RESTful APIs for data access, and implementing the platform's core business logic.
Requirements:
6+ years of professional experience in backend application development.
Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core (modern versions preferred).
Hands-on experience in modernizing or refactoring legacy applications.
Understanding of modular monolith architecture.
Deep understanding of architectural design principles (Clean Architecture, vertical slices).
Experience designing and working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of unit, integration, and automation testing tools (e.g., Playwright).
Familiarity with agentic AI development, utilizing tools such as Claude, Copilot, and Cursor.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate in building a modular monolith architecture following modern software engineering best practices.
Define and enforce clear module boundaries, ownership, and contracts.
Develop application code that is secure, well tested, well documented, extensible, and scalable.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Contribute to backend architecture decisions, including tooling, frameworks, and standards.
