We are currently looking to hire a full time Computer Network and Systems Engineer to start immediately, with competitive market salary.

Roles and duties include:

About the Role

· Administration of Windows Domain Controller and Linux based servers including DNS, DHCP, NTP, FileServers etc.

· Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstations

· Research, analyse and monitor the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

· Evaluate and recommend improvements to network operations and operating systems.

· Design network policies and procedures.

· Install and configure layer 2 and layer 3 switches for including HP and CISCO switches.

· Plan, develop, deploy, test and optimise network and system services to ensure the operational readiness of network systems.

· Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software and other network issues/problems.

· Monitor the existing network infrastructure which includes Linux Servers, Windows Servers and other Applications to maximise system performance.

· Design and implement Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions for servers including virtual machines.

· Understanding of Virtualisation and Cloud technologies

· Researching, planning, implementing and managing multiple platform environments with different OS and their configurations.

· Install and configure network devices such as Routers, Firewalls, Switches to ensure data security and integrity.

· Provide remote assistance to clients to identify and rectify networking issues efficiently.

· Analyse, develop, interpret and evaluate complex system design specifications and diagrams in the development and integration of computer systems.

· Patching and vulnerability fixing of Windows servers.

· Upgrade and update the system hardware and software to ensure system availability.

· Setup advance monitoring, collect the network traffic and analyse the traffic to ensure system security.

· Realtime monitoring of Network link bandwidth usage.

· Manage user level access for computer network and systems.

· Prepare network analysis report of major and critical activity as per defined to stakeholder management process.

· Securing IT infrastructure systems and ensuring that the documented business and technical requirements are met while adhering to industry best practice standards.

· Maintain and submit solutions related to network issues in order to quickly rectify problems in future.

· Perform Incident resolution, Problem Determination and Root Cause Analysis in accordance with Service Level Agreements.

· If required, attend client site for diagnosing and resolving networking issues.

· Recommend and design solutions for digital and IP business phone systems including Avaya IP Office and Contact Center solutions.

The successful candidate will have a relevant bachelor degree or higher and at least 3 years of relevant experience. It is preferable if you are a permanent resident or citizen of Australia when applying.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
