L\&H Solutions consists of portfolio of enterprise SaaS solutions built by Swiss Re for our insurance clients covering key parts of primary value chain such as, Automated UW, Data Driven UW, Claims management, etc. This includes our flagship product Magnum which is an automated underwriting solution built by Swiss Re and helps 70+ insurers across the globe to automate the risk assessment in their Life and Health insurance transactions.
Key responsibilities
To maintain ground-breaking propositions for L\&H Solutions and support the next wave of client growth with our SaaS offerings, we are looking for the Security product owner.
If you are passionate about cyber security, have experience in software development and IT Operations and worked in insurance or reinsurance industries we are waiting for you. In this role, you will take charge of cyber security scope and controls in variety of systems in order to ensure timely delivery of security improvements and remediation to all our products.
You will be in charge of evaluation of penetration tests and security scan results, converting those into executable backlog for a number of development teams.
You will be responsible for delivering security improvements across all related products.
You will work with internal and external providers to plan and efficiently organize system penetration tests.
You will be responsible for accurate maintenance of all security related documentation.
You will prepare security related materials for external and internal clients.
Play an active role in aligning security features across different products.
Participate in security design definition across different products.
You will bring security external and internal client security perspectives into the solution design to ensure systems are commercially scalable, easy to integrate and offered in a secure way.
As a security Product owner, you will work with relevant colleagues in group IT \& engineering teams to implement and design required controls such IAM, security, data management, cloud architecture, 3rd party integrations, etc.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field.
Solid experience in process management.
Extensive experience in information security engineering and IT risk management.
Strong understanding of actual cyber risks and security trends.
Experience in management of external and internal teams in short, intensive projects.
Good understanding of Aure and related security controls.
Experience with Azure DevOps (Code management, artefact storage, Pipelines).
Good understanding of Authentication, Authorization concepts.
Knowledge of data protection legislation.
Solid experience in secure software development lifecycle: Working with functional and non-functional requirements, identification and remediation of findings related to 1st and 3rd party code.
Good understanding of security enforcement tolls (SAST, DAST, SCA).
Practical experience in vulnerability assessment and remediation management.
Leadership and good communication skills.
Experience in mentorship and working with multi-cultural technical team spread across locations and contracted partners.
A personal demeanour that is collaborative and possesses the following values: proactivity, ownership, continuous improvement.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Domain knowledge of underwriting process or Life insurance business.
For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 60,000] and [EUR 100,000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
