About the Role:
Our banking client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data systems and pipelines supporting analytics and reporting for a collaborative team in the asset management industry. The role offers exposure to modern cloud technologies, AWS migration projects, and the opportunity to work on technology modernization initiatives.
Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of Data Engineering and ETL development experience
Strong Python and SQL skills
Solid understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and Analytics concepts
Experience with AWS tools (SageMaker, AWS Unified Studio)
Proven track record in tech modernization/migration projects
Banking industry experience
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience with SAS and WebFOCUS
Exposure to machine learning workflows and AWS SageMaker integration
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms
