Outside IR35 - up to £80 p/h
We are looking for a
DV Cleared DevOps Engineer
to work on mission-critical systems where reliability, security, and automation genuinely matter. This role will assist with shaping how secure platforms are built, deployed, and evolved across their entire lifecycle.
You’ll operate in highly secure environments, working alongside software engineers, architects, and security specialists to deliver resilient, high-performing solutions that support real-world operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and release secure software
Owning and improving CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure workflows
Ensuring platforms are secure by design, resilient, and compliant with strict standards
Delivering fixes, upgrades, and enhancements across live systems
Supporting quality assurance and release management in controlled environments
Continuously improving ways of working — tooling, processes, and automation
Mentoring junior engineers and acting as a technical role model
Keeping pace with emerging DevOps, cloud, and security technologies
What We’re Looking For
Active DV clearance (Essential)
CI/CD (Gitlab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, Python, PowerShell, REST APIs)
Kubernetes cluster build and application delivery
Application Experience: Apache NiFi, Elastic ECK, Artifactory
Secret Management: Hashicorp Vault Operating Systems (Redhat \& Windows)
Solid understanding of secure software development and cyber best practices
Experience working with multiple programming or scripting languages
