We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. In this role, you’ll work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to enable reliable, high-quality data for analytics and business decision-making in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Develop and optimize data models and data warehouses
Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability across systems
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost
Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams
Implement data best practices for security, governance, and documentation
Support BI and analytics use cases with clean, well-structured datasets
✅ Requirements
2–5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role
Strong proficiency in
SQL
and
Python
(or another relevant programming language)
Experience with data warehouses (e.g.
Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift
)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (
AWS, Azure, or GCP
)
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt, Fivetran) is a plus
Understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and data quality concepts
Experience working with version control and CI/CD workflows
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
Fluent in English
Based in Australia with full legal right to work
