*About Tactiq*
Tactiq transforms meetings from where work gets discussed to where work gets delivered—with excellence.
Over 1 million users across tens of thousands of teams rely on Tactiq to turn meeting conversations into exceptional outcomes. We're a Series A, Sydney-based SaaS company building AI note taker for Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams.
We're product-led growth in its purest form: individuals adopt → teams form organically → enterprises discover value → they come to us. A great product that users love.
We're a small, AI-enabled team. That means high leverage, high autonomy, and every decision compounds.
The Role
As Principal PM for Team Collaboration \& Growth, you'll architect the growth engine that turns individual users into high-performing teams, and teams into paying customers. This is about systems design for sustainable, compounding growth.
You'll own the complete user journey: from first transcript to team formation to monetization.
You'll work across our entire product surface: activation flows, collaboration features, monetization mechanics, viral loops. You'll define what "aha" looks like, how teams form naturally, and how we monetize without friction.
*What You'll Own*
The Growth Engine
Design and optimize the end-to-end user journey from acquisition through monetization
Build viral loops and network effects around team collaboration
Define activation moments and create compounding growth mechanisms
Rapid Experimentation
Run disciplined experiments using Mixpanel/Amplitude to identify what drives growth
Prototype solutions with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0) to validate ideas fast
Turn insights into shipped features within days, not weeks
Cross-Functional Execution
Bridge product strategy with engineering, design, and marketing
Build frameworks and best practices that elevate the entire team
Influence as an IC
Requirements
*You Might Be a Good Fit If You*
Have 6+ years in product management, with at least 3+ years focused on growth in B2B SaaS PLG environments. Founder background is a plus.
Possess deep PLG expertise—you've built freemium models, optimized conversion funnels, and understand network effects in team/collaboration products
Have technical depth: you can spin up your own Cursor branch in GitHub, work directly in the codebase
Understand UX fundamentals and can design flows without needing a designer for every iteration
Use AI tools to rapidly prototype features and validate ideas before engineering investment
Have the ability to navigate and execute amidst ambiguity, finding simple, elegant solutions to complex growth problems
Have a track record of launching products that achieved meaningful distribution or commercial success
Know your growth frameworks—retention curves, cohort analysis, loops vs funnels—and can apply them with discipline
Think creatively about how to build sustainable growth systems, not just run growth tactics
Have a builder mindset: you take ownership from idea to shipped feature to measured outcome
Stay hands-on with emerging trends in PLG, AI products, and growth best practices
Bonus Points:
You've worked at a high-growth PLG company
