Job Title: Product Specialist
Location: Remote but needs to follow Eastern Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday \| 8am to 5pm EST
Compensation: $40.97/hr
The Product Specialist reports directly to the Senior Product Manager. This role is responsible for assisting product owners with day-to-day SDLC operations and supporting multiple digital initiatives within the eCommerce product portfolio.
Essential Duties:
Support product owners with execution of product roadmap and initiatives.
Document meeting notes, recaps, and decisions from standups, core hour calls, and working sessions.
Prepare and assign tasks for designers, copywriters, and business analysts (BA) in JIRA based on team decisions.
Review BA UI and functional stories prior to Entry Amigo.
Assist with discovery work and epic requirement creation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business units, vendors, and IT teams to execute against strategic plans.
Plan and prioritize product backlog items based on business value and ROI.
Partner with UX designers and researchers to help shape future product strategy.
Assist product owners with UAT and bug triaging in JIRA.
Support product release plans and communicate feature updates to stakeholders.
Advocate for the customer while balancing business needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2+ years of relevant digital field experience
Knowledge of Agile process and principles
Experience with JIRA strongly preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical problem-solving and creative thinking ability
Product Owner or Project Management experience a plus
Marketing experience a plus
