Take2 is hiring a Journey Application Developer. This is an onsite role requiring public trust eligibility to interview. This position is

and will require you to work out of

Dayton, Ohio.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated

Journeyman Application Developer

to join our development team supporting enterprise software solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including the design, development, testing, and documentation of applications. You will work on both the front\-end and back\-end using technologies such as Java, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop software solutions using

Java

,

SQL stored procedures

,

functions

,

triggers

, and

views

.

Build and maintain responsive web interfaces with

HTML

,

CSS

, and

JavaScript

.

Perform

unit and integration testing

to ensure software quality and reliability.

Support the development of technical documentation, including

Software Development Plans (SDPs)

,

Preliminary Designs

, and

Software Design Documents

.

Participate in code demonstrations, team meetings, and provide weekly status reports.

Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to overall project success.

Assist with software builds using

Ant

and

Maven

(preferred).

Use

version control systems

such as

Git

or

SVN

to manage source code (preferred).

Qualifications:

2–3 years of hands\-on experience with

Java

development.

Experience writing and optimizing

SQL queries

and stored procedures.

Familiarity with web development standards and best practices.

Strong understanding of software testing principles and experience with

unit/integration testing

.

Exposure to build tools (

Ant

,

Maven

) and version control systems (

SVN

,

Git

) is a plus.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
