The Role
Assai is looking for a Frontend React Developer to join the Viewport product team. You will help build and refine user interfaces that visualize AI-driven insights from engineering documentation. Working closely with the Product Owner, Tech Lead, and backend developers, you will shape intuitive front-end experiences for search, visualization, and contextual linking.
Key Responsibilities
Develop modern and responsive interfaces using React, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
Translate complex data and AI output into clear, usable visualizations.
Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and semantic search services.
Collaborate with designers, AI engineers, and testers in an Agile environment.
Maintain high standards for accessibility, scalability, and performance.
Contribute to UI/UX discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills \& Experience
5+ years of experience in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Proven experience in building scalable and modular frontends for SaaS applications.
Familiarity with data visualization (e.g. D3.js, Chart.js, or custom UI frameworks).
Experience working with REST APIs, AI/ML-based endpoints, or semantic search outputs.
Understanding of state management, component testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Svelte, Vite, Storybook, or ASP.NET Core is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
Strong analytical mindset and collaborative attitude.
What Assai Offers
Salary between €60.000 and €80.000 gross per year, depending on experience.
