Job Overview
We are hiring Java Developers to join our technology team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, cloud technologies, and modern front-end frameworks.
You will work closely with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to application development, performance improvements, and system reliability.
This position is ideal for developers who want to build modern applications using Java, AWS, and front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
Contribute to front-end development using React or Angular
Participate in system design, application architecture, and code reviews
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Debug, test, and improve application performance and stability
Work with databases and perform data queries as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams
Participate in Agile development processes and sprint planning
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Follow best practices for application security, reliability, and scalability
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Java development
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms
Experience building and maintaining enterprise applications
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and maintain production applications
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing microservices-based applications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of application resiliency and cloud architecture
Experience with database technologies and SQL
Exposure to modern technologies such as AI, machine learning, or mobile development
