Key Responsibilities
Engage with customer business leaders and engineering teams to understand their cryptographic needs and challenges.
Assess cryptography profiles using the Threat Point system and other tools, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
Document findings and suggest enhancements for Threat Point discovery and remediation systems.
Assist customer engineers with encryption migration tasks and code updates, utilizing LLM agentic flows for efficiency.
Draft action plans for complex data migrations, ensuring alignment across multiple systems and stakeholders.
Communicate cryptographic concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful migration and implementation of security best practices.
Must-Have Skills
Hands-on experience implementing cryptography: symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing, password encryption, KDF, MAC, encryption modes, and transport layers.
Proficiency in systems engineering and modern software development practices.
Production coding experience in interpreted and compiled languages (broad language experience preferred).
Ability to build trust with diverse engineering teams and adapt to various personalities.
Experience with complex data migrations: planning, risk assessment, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
Strong communication skills: ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with quantum-resistant and post-quantum cryptography.
Experience with competing repository scanning and remediation applications.
Knowledge of LLM and agentic software engineering flows.
Broad/deep cybersecurity skills applicable to customer engagements.
