About the Role:
Odoo Development and Innovation
- Design, develop, and enhance Odoo modules and applications tailored to client and business needs. This includes creating new features, improving existing ones, and delivering custombuilt Odoo solutions that add competitive value.
End-to-End Project Execution
- Take full ownership of the development cycle—from initial planning and budgeting to testing, documentation, and versioning. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality code across multiple projects, and escalate potential risks related to scope, time, or budget when necessary.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Coordinate the work of fellow developers, offering guidance and ensuring quality standards are upheld. Foster team growth through mentorship and on-the-job training, while promoting a collaborative and accountable work environment
Quality Assurance and Process Improvement
- Champion clean code principles and continuously improve development practices, workflows, and tools. Contribute to optimizing internal procedures, templates, and coding standards to elevate the team’s overall performance.
Reporting, Administration, and Continuous Learning
- Maintain accurate daily timesheets and report progress regularly. Stay current with Odoo updates and broader IT trends, ensuring the team remains technically proficient and aligned with industry advancements.
Need to have
7+ Years of relevant IT development experience (Python, Javascript, XML).
Demonstrable understanding of ERP systems, concepts and architecture.
Think and act on the level of a master’s degree in either IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Deep commitment to clean coding principles, modular design, and scalable architecture.
Experienced in applying code quality standards, version control, and automated testing.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
Willingness to go beyond typical 9-to-5 mentality to meet deadlines.
Agile, insightful, and able to rapidly assess priorities and take appropriate action.
Possesses a natural sense of authority and business acumen, able to interact confidently with C-level clients.
Proactive communication with stakeholders and commitment to planning.
Fluent in English.
Nice to have
Handson experience with SMEs in agribusiness, energy, health, mobility, FMCG, hospitality and/or circular business.
Actual experience in Odoo development would be desirable, but no a hard requirement (v14 or higher).
A good sense of humor.
Remuneration
A competitive salary (corresponding with experience)
