About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing Continuous Delivery Pipelines and non-production environments. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and automation of deployment processes across containerised and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with agile, multi-disciplinary teams to support IT systems that drive essential business outcomes.
Your duties will include:
Automating and orchestrating deployment and provisioning tasks in cloud and containerised environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes/EKS).
Providing configuration support and resolving software environment issues for development and testing teams.
Building and managing release kits and overseeing distribution to pre-production and production environments.
Maintaining and upgrading DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Digital.ai, SonarQube, and GitHub.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the automation and efficiency of the delivery pipeline.
Collaborating with technical and delivery staff to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
Proven experience implementing solutions on major Cloud Service Providers, including AWS or Azure.
Strong expertise in DevOps/DevSecOps/IaC tools, techniques, and configuration.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kaniko, and Kubernetes (EKS).
Development experience with programming languages like Java, Groovy, and Python.
Proficiency with CI tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and build tools like Maven, Gradle, and npm.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical staff and manage time effectively to deliver projects.
