Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for building server-side applications, optimizing and maintaining the server, and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure a seamless integration between the user interface and the server-side logic. You will play a critical role in creating and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Design and implement robust and efficient APIs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
Maintain code quality through code reviews and writing unit tests.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Node.js development.
Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the application.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to develop high-quality software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
Proficiency in server-side programming with Node.js and JavaScript.
Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and an understanding of their integration with Node.js.
Strong knowledge of database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Knowledge of web security and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with popular Node.js frameworks, such as Express.js or NestJS.
Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Experience with performance profiling and optimization.
