The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for Manual and Automated testing deliverables for projects in the Customer platforms delivery teams. The Senior Quality Engineer is expected to Analyse Requirements, undertake hands-on testing and automate using TOSCA to be proactively involved in the continual maturity of the Quality Engineering capability. The Senior Quality Engineer will be required to contribute to quality engineering and automated testing planning, scope the testing, estimate the effort and duration of automated testing, and determine resource and environment requirements. The role's focus is on delivering the automated and manual test deliverables on time, according to the standard defined in the test method, and ensuring that they are reusable and auditable.
Additional tasks include:
1. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional multi-company team environment and communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
2. Solid Experience in both automated and manual testing, with the target of full automation when it makes sense.
3. Familiarity and experience with git, GitHub, and Jenkins.
4. Experience in qTest, TOSCA, AI
5. Experience in Tosca to implement and maintain automation frameworks.
6. Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all testing processes and procedures established according to the TCoE Test Strategy and framework standards.
7. Identify scope of testing and test approach; functional and non-functional
8. Contribute to test planning deliverables, including Test Strategy and Test Plan
9. Conduct API testing to validate backend functionality and integration points.
10. Own autonomously the Automation scripting to be able to review TOSCA QA automation scripting that is either developed within the QA Engineering team.
11. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritise test cases.
12. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
13. Continuously improve testing strategies and processes to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
14. Experience developing and building test plans and test strategies from scratch for API products, systems, including web \& mobile applications.
15. Ensure the content and structure of all test deliverables are consistent, well-documented and maintained.
16. Manage defects and follow through to conclusion (as and when required)
17. Produce Test Summary Report
