true Level 3
support engineer to join our international IT Service Desk team. This isnât a transition role from Level 2; weâre seeking someone who already leads escalations, works with autonomy, and takes initiative to deliver lasting impact.

What youâll be doing
Act as a key escalation point for high-impact infrastructure and cloud incidents
Deliver Level 3 support across Azure services, infrastructure, servers, and networks
Take ownership of complex issues from diagnosis through to resolution
Support and guide the L2/L1 team, stepping in on tickets when needed
Lead improvement initiatives to modernise and optimise systems
Maintain and enhance our cloud platforms (Azure AD, Intune, Defender, VMs)
Manage our on-prem infrastructure: Windows Server, VMware, Citrix Workspace
Resolve network issues including VPN, LAN/SDWAN, and firewall configurations
Automate processes using PowerShell and Logic Apps
Ensure best practice alignment with cybersecurity and ITIL principles
Document technical procedures and share knowledge across teams
Collaborate closely with vendors and internal delivery teams
Core expertise required
To be successful in this role, you must bring
expert-level
hands-on experience in:
Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, compliance and policy management
Microsoft Azure: Azure AD, Intune, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint/Cloud, virtual machines
Citrix Workspace: Setup, configuration, maintenance, and support
Infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, VMware, Hyper-V
Networking: VPN, Firewalls, Cisco/HP switching
Automation: Scripting and tools (PowerShell, Logic Apps)
Who weâre looking for
You bring strong technical knowledge and the mindset to lead, challenge, and deliver.
You have 7+ years of IT support experience, including 3+ years in a senior infrastructure or cloud-focused role
You take initiative; you're proactive, not reactive
You challenge constructively, pushing teams and delivery partners to do better
You own your work; from start to finish, you see it through
Youâre a strong communicator, able to explain complex issues clearly
Youâre collaborative, yet confident working independently
Youâre fluent in English (Dutch or French is a plus)
Youâre comfortable in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
Certifications
such as AZ-104, CCNP, or ITIL Foundation are a strong plus. If you donât have them yet, weâll support you on your certification journey.
