Job Description:

TD is undertaking a multi‑year Marketing Transformation with Salesforce as a core enterprise platform. As the Manager – Marketing Capabilities Product Owner , you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous evolution of marketing capabilities that enable scalable, data‑driven, personalized customer experiences across channels. You will translate business goals into Salesforce‑aligned MarTech requirements, drive cross‑functional delivery, and guide the adoption of new capabilities across Marketing, Technology, Data, and Analytics teams.

This role is accountable for backlog ownership, prioritization, and ensuring features and solutions align to enterprise Salesforce strategy and Marketing’s transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Ownership \& Strategy

Own and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and value delivery for Marketing Capabilities aligned to Salesforce and connected platforms.

Translate business goals into clear, prioritized backlogs leveraging Agile, ART/PI planning, and Kanban practices.

Ensure capabilities support enterprise marketing transformation objectives around automation, journey orchestration, personalization, and data unification.

2. Requirements \& Solution Design

Define and document end‑to‑end capability requirements including use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and adjacent platforms.

Lead discovery sessions with Marketing, Data, Salesforce Platform teams, and Business stakeholders to turn marketing objectives into scalable SFMC‑based solutions.

Design workflow maps, customer journeys, data flows, and integration patterns needed across Salesforce, enterprise data layers, and channel systems.

Create wireframes or prototypes to visualize new customer experiences and journeys in the Salesforce ecosystem.

3. Delivery Leadership

Own sprint‑level artifacts, ceremonies, and cadence within Agile Release Trains delivering SFMC and MarTech solutions.

Partner with Technology, Data, and Architecture teams to ensure solution feasibility, scalability, and compliance with privacy, risk, and enterprise architecture standards.

Support deployment, user acceptance testing, change management, and Day-2 operationalization for Marketing capabilities.

4. Capability Adoption \& Enablement

Drive adoption of new Salesforce‑based capabilities across Marketing teams; embed them into operational workflows and campaign processes.

Create documentation, playbooks, and Confluence‑based knowledge artifacts to support onboarding and ongoing enablement of marketers and operations teams.

Serve as subject‑matter expert for SFMC capabilities, data features, and best practices in campaign execution and automation.

5. Measurement \& Continuous Improvement

Define success metrics, measurement frameworks, and reporting requirements tied to LTV, retention, conversion, and engagement outcomes.

Monitor performance of capabilities post‑launch and optimize based on insights, scaling learnings across Marketing teams.

What You Bring

5+ years in MarTech product management, marketing operations, or Salesforce‑based marketing technology delivery.

Hands‑on experience with Agile at scale: ART/PI planning, Kanban flow, sprint ceremonies, JIRA administration.

Strong capability writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional/technical requirements for enterprise MarTech stacks.

Experience designing customer journeys, workflows, and data‑driven digital campaigns—ideally within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Proficiency with Confluence and documentation best practices for product and operational knowledge management.

Experience producing wireframes or low‑fidelity prototypes for capability and journey design.

Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to operate within a matrixed environment.

Post‑secondary degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Agile Scrum or Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO).

Knowledge of Insurance business, Bank Act, Privacy regulations.

Experience in a highly regulated industry like financial services.
