Senior UI/UX Developer- Hybrid in Des Moines, IA

Overview:
Seeking a Sr. UI/UX Developer/Architect to lead end-to-end design and front-end architecture efforts for modern digital platforms. This role focuses on creating intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent user experiences while partnering with cross?functional technical and product teams.
Responsibilities
Lead UI/UX architecture, including design strategy, user flows, wireframes, and prototype development.
Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI standards for scalable interfaces.
Develop responsive, accessible design solutions across web and mobile platforms.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate findings into iterative improvements.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure seamless execution of design intent.
Optimize workflows, simplify complex processes, and advocate for user-centered design.
Ensure alignment with modern UI frameworks, front-end technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in UI/UX design, interaction design, and information architecture.
Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and collaboration frameworks.
Experience designing for responsive design, mobile-first, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to analyze complex requirements and convert them into intuitive user experiences.
Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in enterprise environments or large-scale application ecosystems.
Familiarity with UX research methods, persona development, and journey mapping.
Background collaborating within Agile/Scrum teams.
