About the role:
ISE SW Developer (back end)
Perl
Understand legacy codes/debug and development
Adding features to existing Perl modules
Building custom monitoring or alerting scripts for network events
Linux
Networking and security fundamentals: TCP/IP, firewalls (iptables/nftables)
Subnetting, routing, NAT, VLANs, Virtual IP
Network Monitoring \& Troubleshooting
Understanding of failover strategies and redundancy
SSH, Bash scripting
Configuration management tools (Ansible, …)
Database (mysql/postgress, )
Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Understanding of Galera Cluster concepts and synchronous replication
Monitoring and managing replication lag, failover, and recovery procedure
Python
load‑balancers (HAProxy
, NGINX)
Strong Containerisation skills (Docker,…)
Good to have:
Experience in setting up
DNS service
Build and manage
Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
