TechHeads is seeking a Software Engineer in Production Support to join a new team build with an enterprise-scale organisation. This is a role that allows for huge growth potential as you will be joining the team at an early stage, allowing you to progress quickly in this role as the team develops and grows.
In this role, you will be responsible for the support, management and maintenance of applications. This involves monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing pre-emptive processes to support the smooth operations of large-scale platforms. This is a role that offers a high-level of responsibility and impact within a fast-paced environment.
You will work with a modern tech stack including, C#, .NET and more within an Azure environment, allowing you to work with modern tools as you support applications during and post-production.
As this is a new team build, you will be supported and provided with any necessary training to promote a successful launch of this team, offering you the opportunity to learn and develop your skillset in a high-impact role.
The role:
Frontline production support in a Microsoft environment
Application monitoring, incident response, operational SLA’s
Managing job schedules and workflows
Investigating errors and failure points, including fixing coding bugs in a live production environment
Post-go-live support and stability ownership
Background in automation, performance optimisation, and proactive issue detection
Experience with service performance metrics, KPIs, and continuous service improvement
Required:
Hands-on C# / .NET coding experience – minimum 1 year
Hands-on experience and knowledge of Azure \& DevOps processes and approaches
Ability to troubleshoot issues across a range of technologies (messaging, data, code, etc.)
Excellent communication skills collaborating with multiple functions across the business.
Please note this position requires 5 days on-site per week
