We’re partnering with a large ASX-listed organisation delivering a major enterprise data migration program, consolidating multiple legacy data platforms into a modern Salesforce-based environment. This role suits an experienced ETL Developer / Data Engineer who enjoys hands-on data migration work, complex source-to-target transformations, and solving data quality challenges at scale. You’ll be embedded in a delivery-focused data program, responsible for building and optimising ETL processes to migrate and transform data from multiple legacy systems into Salesforce.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, developing and maintaining ETL pipelines for large-scale data migration
Building and orchestrating packages to extract, transform and load data
Developing and optimising SQL Server stored procedures and transformation logic
Performing data profiling, validation and reconciliation to ensure data quality
Working closely with analysts and stakeholders on source-to-target mappings
Supporting migration rehearsals, cutover activities and post-load validation
Troubleshooting performance and data integrity issues across ETL workflows
What We’re Looking For
Strong hands-on experience as an ETL Developer or Data Engineer
Advanced SQL Server skills (complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures)
Solid experience with ETL and orchestration tools (SSIS or equivalent such as ADF, Informatica, Talend, Airflow)
Proven background working on data migration or integration programs
Strong understanding of data quality, validation and reconciliation
Experience working across multiple source systems and complex data models
