TECHNICAL LEAD
JOB OVERVIEW
Take ownership of the technical direction and execution of software projects for global clients. Act as both a technical expert and a team leader, ensuring project excellence, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement in engineering practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Leadership \& Architecture
o Define system architecture, technical standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.
o Lead the development team in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
o Conduct code reviews, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure product stability and
performance.
o Evaluate and recommend modern tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance engineering efficiency.
Software Development \& DevOps
o Contribute to both frontend/backend development (Node.js, Java, Golang, Python/FastAPI, etc.) as part of end-to-end delivery.
o Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) to maintain quality and reliability.
o Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure/ GCP).
o Build and maintain CI/ CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
o Monitor production systems to ensure performance, resilience, and compliance.
Collaboration \& Team Leadership
o Collaborate closely with Project Managers, BAs, and QAs to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
o Lead technical discussions and communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
o Mentor and coach developers, fostering technical growth, accountability, and continuous learning.
o Engage directly with international clients to ensure transparency, trust, and delivery excellence.
o Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
REQUIREMENTS
Education \& Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
o Minimum 7 years of software development experience, with more than 2+ years of experience in a Technical lead or team lead role.
o Good command of English or Japanese for client communication.
Technical \& Leadership Skills
o Proficient in one or more backend stacks: Java/ Golang/ NodeJS/ Python/ .NET.
o Strong experience in architect \& system design, microservices, API, cloud, and CI/CD pipelines.
o Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) \& Agile/Scrum delivery models.
o Lead by example with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Make sound, data-driven technical decisions under pressure.
o Balance hands-on coding with architectural direction and team leadership.
o Mentor, coach, and empower team members to reach their full potential.
o Drive quality culture, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
