End/Renewal Date: Contract of 5 months with good possibility of extension (most of our contractors at this client are on projects for 2-3+ years after being hired)

Our client is seeking a qualified consultant to provide staff augmentation services to support the development of an Agentic AI–enabled Facilities Maintenance Assistant. A qualified consultant to provide staff augmentation services to support the development of an Agentic AI–enabled Facilities Maintenance Assistant. The consultant will work with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team to design, develop, and test an AI application that supports maintenance planning and operational decision-making using data from the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in or manage software development projects using a blend of standard Project Management practices with agile development.
Liaise with clients and project sponsors; maintain relationships and engage stakeholders to gather and manage requirements.
Participate in design reviews and architectural reviews.
Generates design specifications and project proposals, including cost and duration estimates, for the new or modified system and acquires authorization to proceed from the requesting business unit.
Enforces adherence to development and support methodologies.
Design an Agentic AI architecture for a maintenance assistant
Prepare and structure facilities and maintenance data
Develop an AI assistant for maintenance planning and recommendations
Integrate the AI application with CMMS (AiM) through APIs
Support testing, refinement, and documentation
SKILLS \& EXPERIENCE
Experience developing AI / Generative AI applications
Experience with Agentic AI and RAG architectures
Experience integrating with enterprise systems via APIs
CMMS or Facilities Management system experience preferred
Knowledge in data analysis
Computer Sciences /Software Engineering master degree preferred.
University graduate preferred
