About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Java Developers to join our team. This role is open to both early-career developers with fundamental Java knowledge and seasoned professionals with extensive hands-on experience. You will work remotely across the UK, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality, scalable Java-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Java applications using best practices and modern development standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, coding, testing, code review, deployment, and support.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Contribute to technical documentation, architecture discussions, and process improvements.
Stay updated with emerging trends in Java, frameworks, and associated technologies.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
0–15 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Solid understanding of Core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns.
Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side development.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools.
Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and ability to work in a remote environment.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Test automation experience (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito).
Must have valid eligibility to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
