The opportunity
Seeking an experienced (Senior) Backend Engineer or Analyst Programmer to join the fast-paced and innovative team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining complex software systems that drive the company's success.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop the next generation of the company’s Digital Platform with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to ensure system stability and reliability.
Continuously research and adopt new technologies to enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Build cloud-native web applications using modern frameworks and tools aligned with the company’s technology stack.
Work closely with development leads and IT architects to design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
Solid understanding of web application architecture and hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Proficient in at least one backend programming language: Java, Kotlin, Golang, Node.js, or Python
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, SonarQube)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
