TELUS is renowned for its inclusive workplace where diverse team members make meaningful contributions and help shape the future of digital experiences. Our success is driven by passionate people, innovative technology, and a relentless focus on delivering value for our customers.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Digital Experience team, an agile group responsible for advancing a Digital First strategy for the Small \& Medium Business (SMB) segment. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing evolution of several core SMB platforms, including the Electronic Verification System (eVS), Business News Notifier (BNN), and eQuote.

These platforms support SMB business continuity by enabling partner-led acquisition, offer access and eligibility, quoting, and sales execution across digital and assisted channels. You will be accountable for the long-term platform direction and roadmap, ensuring today’s platforms are reliable and well-supported while also preparing them to meet future business needs.

This role emphasizes strong systems thinking and collaboration. You will work closely with architecture, engineering, and external partners to explore solution options, understand trade-offs, and contribute to future-state designs that improve flexibility and reduce risk over time.

Here’s how:

Oversee a portfolio of SMB platforms: Be accountable for the product and technical direction of eVS, BNN, and eQuote, including platform strategy, roadmap, and outcomes

Shape product and technical direction: Develop a multi-year roadmap that balances reliability, performance, security, and extensibility with evolving SMB and partner needs

Collaborate on architecture and design: Work with technology and architecture teams to review solution approaches, integration patterns, and operating models that support long-term sustainability

Assess options and trade-offs: Evaluate risks, dependencies, and future opportunities to inform decisions about platform evolution and investment

Support capital planning: Contribute to business cases and investment proposals by clearly outlining value, risk reduction, and expected benefits

Work across functions: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Technology, Analytics, Legal, and external vendors to deliver cohesive end-to-end customer journeys

Maintain platform health: Track performance, reliability, and operational indicators across TELUS.com and partner touchpoints, identifying opportunities to improve stability and resilience

Enable continuous improvement: Identify ways to improve platform capabilities, developer experience, and operational processes to reduce friction and customer effort

Qualifications

Here’s what you bring to this role:

Experience with complex digital platforms: Demonstrated experience working on integrated platforms with accountability for both technical considerations and business outcomes

Technical understanding: Comfort collaborating with engineering and architecture teams on APIs, integrations, system dependencies, and non-functional requirements

Systems perspective: Ability to connect business goals, customer experience, and technical architecture when making product choices

Sound judgment in ambiguity: Experience evaluating multiple options and making well-reasoned recommendations that balance near-term needs with long-term platform sustainability

Experience supporting change: Exposure to platform modernization efforts, technical risk reduction, or scalability improvements

Clear communication: Ability to explain technical topics in accessible ways to partners and senior stakeholders

Delivery experience: Familiarity with Agile ways of working and managing scope, risk, and dependencies in complex initiatives

Great-to-haves:

Experience in a senior technical product management role or a similar position in a large organization

Experience working with a mix of internal teams, external vendors, and platform partners

Exposure to business casing, capital planning, or portfolio prioritization

Experience with API-driven architectures, cloud-based platforms, and system integrations

Background in B2B, B2B2C, telecommunications, or technology-focused environments

Salary Range: $112,000-$162,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
